This website
This version is a static product website. Its own code does not create an account, collect form submissions, set cookies, use browser storage, or send analytics events. The site uses system fonts and serves its illustrations locally, rather than requesting external font or advertising networks.
The hosting provider may process normal request and security logs, such as IP address, requested page, and device/browser information. “No analytics added” does not mean a website can operate without any network information reaching its host.
If you follow an external download link or email a support address, that destination's own data practices apply. A visit to this website does not enable Splix cloud sync.
Local use and cloud features are different
Splix's local core is designed to work without an account. Supported cloud services require their own account and sharing setup. Read the review shown in the app before enabling a supported upload scope; signing in is not the same action as consenting to sync.
Personal spending and group records
A personal expense is separate from a shared group expense. Personal records do not belong in group balances, settlement suggestions, group exports, or group WhatsApp summaries. Shared group records are intended for that group's authorised participants.
Exports, sharing, and device backup
A CSV export or a WhatsApp summary is a copy you choose to send or save. Once shared, the destination may retain that copy. Android device backup or transfer can also behave differently from Splix's own cloud services, depending on device settings and the app build.
For those reasons, we do not claim that every record always stays on your phone. Do not assume unsynced local records will be recoverable after losing, replacing, uninstalling, or clearing a device.
Permissions and receipt information
Use in-app explanations to understand permissions and receipt features. Bill images and PDFs may contain names, addresses, identifiers, or payment details; review what you import and share. This website does not request camera, microphone, contacts, or location access.
Scope of this page: this describes the website and explains product choices. It is not a substitute for a complete, approved app privacy policy covering the specific published build, its service providers, retention, deletion, and responsible operator. Those release details must be supplied before this page is used as an app-store privacy-policy declaration.
